The North Staffordshire Hunt met on New Year's Day 2019, in the paddock in the centre of Norton in Hales with a Field of around 50 riders and a good crowd of hunt supporters from the village and nearby. Field Master for the day was Mrs Emily Jarrett, wife of Jonathan Jarrett, Master of Foxhounds (MFH) who thanked everyone for attending and particularly thanked the Car Followers who had provided the refreshments, as the Hinds Head was closed for the day. The Hunt moved away shortly after 11am to commence their day's trail hunting.
