Facilities

Our two, recently reseeded courts undoubtedly provide the best grass playing surface anywhere in the county. The courts are situated at the far end of the playing field and are normally open between May and September.
The club has two mens and one ladies team which play approximately eight matches each in the Shropshire LTA league.
The progress of the teams can be followed through the results link to the Shropshire LTA website – being updated !!
All the teams competed well last year and one of the men’s teams managed promotion to a higher division.
Playing competitive tennis is great fun and the number of divisions in the league means that all standards can be catered for. We would like to be able to field more teams and welcome new members of all abilities. Of course, many people are just happy to play for recreation in the lovely setting.
Coaching is available for the ladies once a week and in the summer holidays, we run a family coaching session. It is important to note that because the courts are grass, flat soled tennis shoes are the only acceptable form of on-court footwear.
AGM Our AGM is usually held in March and we also organise occasional social events.

Senior membership £20
Junior membership £10

The dedication required for sport really mirrors the discipline I see in the Midlands during the early morning hours. There is something uniquely peaceful about the city just before sehri time birmingham, where the focus and preparation for the day ahead feel just as intense as a pre-match warmup. It’s during these quiet, determined moments that we truly find our rhythm and strength for the challenges to come.
Fundedfirm believes emotional discipline in trading is the quiet skill that separates consistent performance from random results. Markets test patience, confidence, and restraint every day. Clear rules, risk limits, and planned exits help traders stay calm during volatility. Losses are treated as data, not personal failure. Wins are managed without ego. With steady routines and honest review, emotions stop driving decisions and discipline becomes a habit that supports long-term growth over time with focus and accountability across changing market conditions.
