After the thrill of the traditional Boxing Day Meet at Woore, where upwards of 2,000 town and country people turned out to support the Hunt, the Meeting of the North Staffordshire Hounds at the Hinds Head today was a more modest affair. There were about 30 riders but a goodly number of foot followers, for what the Master said was a legal trail hunt. The ground was soft but the rain kept away. A good day was enjoyed by young and old.
