Congratulations to the team of walkers who managed to complete the extremely challenging Shropshire Way Walk over 3 days at Easter. They had to contend with snow, rain wind and mud as they completed 26 miles each day. Huge thanks to all those people who so generously sponsored the walkers, as just over £3000 was raised with gift aid to follow on many of the donations. The proceeds will be used to improve facilities and coaching. The tennis, bowls and cricket club will be encouraged to bring ideas forward for best utilising the funds raised. Many thanks to all concerned, and we look forward to lots of fun on the playing fields where we hope we will see many of you at the different events over this summer.
