The lovely Estate of Brand Hall, Norton in Hales, was once again hosting the British Eventing International Horse Trials over this past weekend, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Michael Taylor. This the tenth year of the Trials in the village saw over 300 hundred entries received with many leading riders taking part together with a whole host of up and coming stars in the 2* Sections and the National Pony Championship. The timetable of events started on Friday 31 May with Dressage running from 9am and on Saturday 1 June Dressage and Show Jumping at 9am and Cross Country at 9am. There was a similar timetable on Sunday 2 June. There was a selection of trade stands and hot and cold eating facilities and in the glorious setting of the Brand Hall Estate, and thanks to the organising skills of Janet Plant, it was once again a great weekend for everyone who attended.
