26th Jan @ 7:30PM - Talk, Garden Question Time and Free Hotpot Supper

Norton in Bloom has persuaded Ross Underwood, the Head Gardener at Hodnet Hall, to give an illustrated talk in the village hall. There should also be an opportunity for gardening questions to be asked after a hotpot supper.

Ross will introduce Hodnet Hall Gardens and go on to talk and show pictures illustrating a recent plant hunting visit to Sikkim. In case you are wondering:

Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers.

Open to all and you don’t need to be a gardener! Just come along to the village hall at 7.30 on 26th January (no charge) to what should prove to be a fascinating evening. Tea and coffee will be available, but if you prefer alcohol, then please bring your own.
